Raison D'etre

What is the point of this Website?

I am an aspiring writer, who is currently suffering with an infuriating writer's block. Well, a combination of block and writers diarrhoea, in which I can run with an idea for thousands of words before having cold feet about the premise of the story. So, instead of trying to complete the perfect tome of fiction, I decided I would channel my itchy fingers into starting a site for all other budding creative types to come to and have a look at other pieces of fiction to draw inspiration from.

What I will be adding to this site is different pieces of art which make one want to pick up a pen and emulate, be it a great movie, book, poem or even video game. Sometimes I will write about an excellent premise of a story, or a great twist in a movie, or even just a great character worth expanding upon.

By making a library for the best of the past, I hope to spark an idea to help me make the book I feel I have inside me. I also hope that anyone who reads this will find in my articles an idea useful to their own endaevors.
